Don't Lets Go To The Dogs Tonight
Alexandra Fuller
Alexandra Fuller was the daughter of white settlers in 1970s war-torn Rhodesia. Her story is a vibrantly personal account of growing up in civil war in a extraordinary family. I really thought this book was going to be a bit long and boring but she writes with fantastic humour - and any South African/Rhodesian will be taken back with “Cafenol for headaches, Enos liver salts for indigestion and Coke for added life”!!! An amazing, honest, fascinating story. Highly recommended!
The Kalahari Typing School For Men
Alexander McCall Smith
This is the fourth volume of the No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency series - which stars Precious Ramotswe - Botswana's leading (and only) female private detective. In this book she has competition in the Detective industry for the first time. McCall Smith writes these books in such a brilliant way you feel as if you are there watching it all happen. The characters are so real and the situations so plausible - while being extremely funny. I own every one of this series for a reason...they are wonderful!!

I absolutely love the series from Alexander McCall Smith. I have all the books from the lady detective Romotswe. It is hileriously funny to read and so clever and I can never put the book down once I start reading it. I'm still to buy the latest book but can't wait to read it. I suggest every one to read this series to just have a good laugh and to enjoy it. Keep them coming, that's all I can say.
