Take a walk through Noosa National Park. Listen to the sound of the birds and smell the salt air as you choose one of the many different tracks through the park. Explore the rugged, intricate coastline or hideaway in one of the many coves.
Bright Aqua coloured water, Pandanus trees and the sound of the gentle waves against the shore enhance the atmosphere of the first half of the coastal track through the park. The sound of the wind, the feel of the air on your face and the rougher blue ocean and long white beach enhance the second part. More difficult tracks can be taken, away from the Coastline and up across the headland, with a variation for every level of walker.
Sightings of Koala’s in the trees here are common and quite often represented by an excited group of people looking, pointing and smiling. Families can explore, barbeque, snorkel, rock hop and take in the breathtaking views.
An abundance of accommodation is available in nearby Noosa. From five star accommodation to camping sites, Noosa provides an option for every budget. Busy for most of the year, although busiest in peak season, the hustle and bustle of the town has become part of its appeal. The National Park is often a place where you can take some time out away from the main hub of Noosa.
The above image entitled ‘Lens Flare’ was taken in Noosa National Park at sunrise. The sun is rising over the ocean and reflecting off the distinctive rocks in the foreground. A small wave breaks and heads gently towards the shore. Something I really enjoy is walking though such serene place at sunrise. I feel honored to be given the chance to capture these images.
To get to Noosa, travel by road two hours north of Brisbane and follow the signs from the Bruce Highway.
